Cowrite the Future

‘Cowrite the Future’ Campaign Will Showcase the Ecosystem Helping Innovators, Businesses and Communities Thrive

NASHVILLE (July 23, 2026) – The Nashville Innovation Alliance today launched Cowrite the Future, a national branding campaign designed to position Nashville as a city where technology solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges are imagined, built and scaled. The ultimate goal is to attract more interest and investment to support local innovators.

Featuring stories from Nashville innovators, Cowrite the Future is the result of a year-long, citywide engagement with entrepreneurs, researchers, industry leaders and civic partners. The resulting campaign reflects the voice of Nashville’s innovation ecosystem, translating the city’s distinct strengths into a message rooted in collaboration, creativity and shared ambition.

“Nashville’s spirit of innovation is powered by the exchange of ideas between universities, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors and civic partners,” said Vanderbilt University Chancellor Daniel Diermeier. “Cowrite the Future captures the collaborative spirit unique to Nashville that is essential to turning research, talent and ambition into real-world impact. We have been proud to help bring this campaign to life and can’t wait to see its impact on our city’s innovation economy.”

Cowrite the Future will also serve to better position our city as a place where companies and talent want to put down roots, build and invest.

“Nashville is a city built by creators, entrepreneurs, innovators, and problem-solvers,” said Stephanie Coleman, President and CEO, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. “Our world-class talent, culture of creativity, and willingness to work together have made this a place where big ideas can thrive. Cowrite the Future shines a spotlight on those strengths and showcases why innovators, entrepreneurs, and companies choose to build, grow, and invest here.”

Cowrite the Future will come to life through a number of channels, including a dedicated website, social media campaign, earned and paid media, presence at major national and global events, partner promotion and a broader call for Nashvillians to share their own stories of innovation.

“Through the Alliance’s work across the ecosystem over the last two and a half years, we have seen the need for this kind of campaign that will help strengthen our work and connect people to its purpose,” added Alliance Interim Executive Director Sally Parker. “When we attend national events, host workshops or speak to others in our space, we see an opportunity to better communicate Nashville’s innovation story. Cowrite the Future gives us a shared language to do that and helps our partners tell that story, too.”

“For years, we’ve worked to make Nashville and our state a place where innovative companies are born, grow and thrive,” said Lindsey Cox, CEO, LaunchTN. “Providing resources and capital is a big part of that, but so is making sure we are telling a compelling story that inspires them to want to create here. This is what Cowrite the Future is, and I’m excited at what it will do for all of our efforts.”

Through the campaign, founders, researchers, creatives and civic leaders across the city will highlight how they are helping “cowrite” the future, from health care and mobility to artificial intelligence, music and entertainment, and more.

“In order for Nashville to continue its upward trajectory in the tech space, we must work to ensure the local talent pipeline is growing and as dynamic as possible,” stated Mark Blaze, President and CEO, Greater Nashville Technology Council. “Cowrite the Future is going to better tell our innovation story to the world and that will attract and nurture a workforce ready to meet the demand of our city’s evolving local economy.”

The campaign was created by the Nashville Innovation Alliance in partnership with many players from across the city – including the Greater Nashville Private Capital Association, Greater Nashville Tech Council, Launch Tennessee, Mayor O’Connell’s Office, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Nashville Entrepreneur Center, as well as a coalition of other colleges and universities across the area.

Sam Davidson, CEO, Nashville Entrepreneur Center added, “Every founder I know in this city will tell you the same thing: Nashville shows up for you. Cowrite the Future finally puts words to what entrepreneurs here have been experiencing for years. This campaign is going to be of tremendous help to the folks in our city who are working tirelessly to make their dreams a reality.”
